Mohammed Khaled
Consul General
Mohammed Khaled is a career diplomat, joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Assistant Secretary on 21 August 2006. He belongs to Bangladesh Foreign Service 25th batch (BCS Foreign Affairs cadre).
Prior to join Bangladesh Consulate General in Kunming as Consul General, Mohammed Khaled served Bangladesh Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar, Bangladesh Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal and Bangladesh Embassy in Athens, Greece in different capacities. He served in different wings including SAARC, BIMSTEC & ACD Wing, West Asia Wing, Central Asia & Africa Wing, Europe & EU Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in different capacities.
Mohammed Khaled holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the National and Kapudistrian University of Athens (University of Athens). He holds another Master’s degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences from the Institute of Forestry & Environmental Sciences, University of Chittagong. He also received Bachelor degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences from the Institute of Forestry & Environmental Sciences, University of Chittagong.
Mr. Khaled was born on 01 July 1979 in Chattogram (Chittagong). He is married and blessed with two daughters.
